Ryan Gosling responds to trolls who seem to have a problem with the fact that will play Ken in the upcoming movie “Barbie” due to his “old” age.

I would say, you know, if people don’t want to play with my Ken, there are plenty of other Kens to play with“, the 42-year-old actor said in an interview with “GQ”. Gosling said he found the reason funny, considering that people didn’t think of Ken before casting the star for the role.

The ‘Notebook’ star added: “If you ever really cared about Ken, you’d know that nobody cared about Ken. So your hypocrisy is exposed. That is why his story must be told».

Although Gosling believes that no one cares about Ken, he jokingly admitted that he feels like a “spokesman” for the fictional character. “Now I care about this guy.
