Naomi Campbell will be honored with the humanitarian award “Jacqueline Avant HollyRod” at HollyRod’s annual DesignCare gala, which turns 25 this year. According to the Foundation’s announcement, the event will take place on July 15 in Los Angeles.

As the “Hollywood Reporter” reports, the HollyRod Foundation was created in 1997 by actress Holly Robinson Pitt and her husband, Rodney, to provide assistance to those diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and autism.

We are especially excited to award our amazing friend Naomi Campbell with the Jacqueline Avant Award,” said Holly Robinson Pitt, adding that her heart is filled with “immense gratitude and pride“, for those who helped on their charity trip. Jacqueline Awad was among them.

Jacqueline was for me my second mother and my mentor,” noted the actress. “She and her husband have supported us steadfastly for 25 years. We will never stop talking about her and honoring her legacy».

Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kojo will also be honored at the event with the Muhammad Ali Trailblazer Award. The foundation was created in honor of Holly’s father Matthew, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at the age of 45, and her son, who is on the autism spectrum.
