It’s nice to be a queen. Beyonce – aka Queen Bey – could rake in nearly $2.1 billion from her ‘Renaissance’ world tour – about $500 million more – than Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’.

These impressive estimates are based on the most optimistic assumptions about the number of fans who buy tickets to their concerts, according to Forbes.

The “Renaissance” could gross between $275 million and $2.4 billion from tickets alone by the time the tour ends in September. Due to the intense desire of fans to attend concerts of their favorite artists – the pandemic also intervened – these amounts may seem reasonable.

Born in Houston, Texas, Beyonce broke into the music industry in the 1990s with Destiny’s Child. According to the report, ‘Renaissance’ could be Beyonce’s highest-grossing concert tour – possibly surpassing the revenue she’s earned from all of her previous concerts combined!

Besides being talented artists, Beyonce and Swift are also excellent business executives. A key part of the executive’s job is choosing a business strategy—making decisions about what products to sell, where to sell them, and how much to charge customers—and executing it flawlessly.

Both artists have succeeded in this part as well. Swift may retain a larger share of ticket sales than Beyonce. As for their average ticket prices for their 2023 tours are around $700.

Taylor Swift, who is about eight years younger than Beyonce, may have many years ahead of her to surpass her.
