Ratinho, 67, spoke in his program on SBT after receiving criticism for having demonstrated against the realization of the LGBT+ Pride Parade in Paulista. The São Paulo Public Prosecutor’s Office was summoned on Monday (26) to denounce the presenter, accused of homophobia.

“There were some assholes on the internet saying that I trashed the Parade. I didn’t screw up shit. I said that the Gay Parade shouldn’t be on Avenida Paulista, but on the Sambódromo. That’s what I said and I’m not going to change it”, he began.

“Since I think the end of year party shouldn’t be on Paulista, it should be on the Sambadrome. You spent a lot of money to make that fucking Sambadrome, put a party there. There are 12 hospitals there on Paulista, there are dozens of clinics”, he added. the presenter, greatly altered. He still called the criticism “bullshit” and opined that “the internet is very boring”.

The request for the MP to investigate Ratinho’s conduct was made by state deputy Agripino Magalhães (MDB-SP), who acts as an activist for the rights of the LGBTQIA+ population, based on the crime of practicing, inducing or inciting racial discrimination or prejudice, color, ethnicity, religion or national origin.

In the program last Thursday (22), Ratinho defended that the region where the Parade took place was suitable only for families and stated that the event was only for people to be naked. “Go to the Sambódromo. There you can be naked, do whatever you want. Leave Avenida Paulista to the families,” he said. “In my opinion, the Gay Parade is the Carnival of fagots and dykes.”

About the case going to court, Ratinho also spoke and said that he is not afraid of a lawsuit. “There’s a citizen who said he’s going to sue me because I said that. I’m going to show you your record. I’m going to show you who you are. Tramp, naughty, shameless.
