BBB 22: Premiere surpasses audience of last editions in SP

The premiere of BBB 22 brought a good audience to Globo, with good marks in both São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. According to a statement released by the broadcaster, there was a significant growth compared to the last three editions.

With Tadeu Schmidt, 47, in charge of the program, the BBB had 28 audience points and 47% participation in São Paulo, which has already surpassed the three previous editions of the reality show in the state, and obtained a growth of 9 points, an increase of 47%, compared to the previous four Mondays.

In Rio de Janeiro, the average audience was 30 points, one point lower than the 2021 premiere, and had a 51% share. Furthermore, the growth compared to the last four Mondays was 8 points, which is equivalent to an increase of 36%.

The expectation for the premiere of BBB 22 was high, as BBB 21 and BBB 20 in particular brought great brands to the broadcaster. In the last edition, the program scored 27 audience points in São Paulo and 31 points in Rio de Janeiro.

According to official data, the program scored 25 audience points in its first showing in 2020. It was three points more than the BBB 19 debut a year earlier. The new edition of Big Brother Brasil debuted this Monday (17) full of news.

With the mystery of the entrance of the members of the Camarote – which only happened at the end of the night, with the exception of Jade, Arthur and Linn da Quebrada, who are still in isolation due to the positive diagnosis for Covid-, the brothers and sisters of Pipoca were able to interact the whole day.

The ten participants arrived at the most guarded house in Brazil in the early afternoon and took the opportunity to create more affinity. They used the pool, jacuzzi, gym and even cooked together. During the meal, the Pipocas even talked about their union against the Camarotes. In the live program, they participated in the first dynamic of the reality show: the famous Game of Discord.

After interacting with the Pipocas group, the members of the Camarote began to arrive at the house. Tiago Abravanel, 34, was the first cabin to enter through the door of the house. The second celebrity that arrived at BBB22 was Brunna Gonçalves, 30, dancer, influencer and wife of Ludmilla.

The arrival of Pedro Scooby, 33, was nothing new for the viewer, but Tiago and Brunna were surprised. The last to enter, in the sequence, were Paulo André Camilo, 23, Douglas Silva, 33, Naiara Azevedo, 32, and Maria, 21. The brothers soon went against the others.
