After the media storm caused by her trial with Johnny Depp last year, Amber Heard she “broke” her silence in an attempt to show that she wants to move on with her life. The actress took the opportunity to reappear, this time promoting her new film “In the Fire”. The film takes place in 1988, where she plays an American psychiatrist who is determined to solve the case of a Colombian boy who is accused by the residents of a community of being the devil.

“I’m in control of most of what comes out of my mouth,” the actress told Deadline. He added: “What I don’t control is how my pride in this project and everything we’ve put into this film is affected by other things.”

She also spoke about how difficult it was for her to deal with criticism after the revelations that came to light after her trial with Johnny Depp. “It’s something I’ve had to learn, that I don’t control the stories that others create around me. That’s something I’ll probably appreciate as a blessing down the road,” he added.

“Stop stoning me. I’m an actor. I’m here to support a movie. And that’s not something they can sue me for.”

She also spoke about her “accomplishments” in acting, assuring that she has “decades in the industry” and there is no way this legal adventure will affect her career or stop her from doing the work she loves.

“What a reception… Thanks to all the fans. I’m so excited,” Heard wrote in a short Instagram post, where a crowd can be seen approaching her car to attend the Taormina Film Festival.

It is the first image she has shared on Instagram since December 2022, when she announced that she would not be posting for now and that her silence was being extended for a further period of time. In a second image, Heard is seen smiling at a press conference, where she also talked about the film and the future of her career.
