Marcos Mion, 42, generated controversy when he shared his opinion regarding the command of colleague Tadeu Schmidt, 47, at Big Brother Brasil 2022 (Globo). The presenter “complained” about the behavior of the participants during the live program.
Responsible for running the station’s Saturday afternoons, Mion recommended that Schmidt be inspired by Tiago Leifert, 41, former presenter of the reality show, to solve the issue involving the noise of the participants.
“Sometime Tadeuzola will have to be a little more Leifert and give the brothers some ‘pres-tention’ because it’s not showing anything in the live interactions! this Wednesday (19).
Netizens reacted to the commentary and divided opinions on the presenter’s attitude. “Tadeu is being himself. And I don’t think you exposing this here is cool, wanting him to mold himself to something/someone is to take away his authenticity”, suggested a user on the social network.
“How inelegant. Don’t put yourself in a position of director of the program or of Tadeu’s superior to say what you think he needs to do or not”, typed another internet user. “True!!! He has to direct the questions even more and ignore the rest to realize that there’s no use yelling to get attention”, agreed another person.
“It’s still premature, but when the days of formation of the wall and proof of the leader arrive, I think his kindness will end”, replied another Twitter user.
Ahead of Fantástico for 14 years, Tadeu Schmidt says he is a BBB. In a recent interview with F5, the presenter said that he thinks the reality show is a “genius” and intends to create his “own way of presenting”. “I put my soul into everything I do, and at BBB, it’s no different,” he said.
Schmidt is the third host to take charge of the show.
