The four-episode documentary about the lives and careers of the 90s supermodels is set to premiere on September 20
The top models of all time Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington will star in a new four-episode documentary titled “The Supermodels” from his streaming service Apple TV+.
Directed by Oscar winners Roger Ross Williams and Larissa Bills, the new documentary will tell the life and career of the most iconic top models of the 1990s.
It will take us “back to the 1980s, when four women from different corners of the globe met in New York. Each had already stood out in their own way while together they managed to overcome the industry itself.
Today, the four supermodels remain at the forefront through activism, philanthropy and entrepreneurship.
As the fashion industry continues to redefine itself, and the role of women within it, this is the ultimate story of power and how four women came together to claim it, paving the way for those to come.”
The production is signed by the companies Imagine Documentaries and One Story Up, with executive producers the top models along with Brian Grazer(Brian Grazer), Sara Bernstein(Sara Bernstein) and others.
The premiere is expected on September 20.
