Two Greek roads in the world’s 20 most beautiful roads

The walk in the “colorful” port of Symi and the picturesque Anafiotika narrows of Plaka are among the 20 most beautiful streets in the world, according to a report by housebeautiful.com.

Judging by their historicity, their architecture, or simply their picturesqueness and simplicity, the list consists of streets in big cities and narrow alleys in isolated destinations, which enchant the visitor and lend themselves to perfect… selfies!

In the first place, the magazine suggests a walk to the port of Symi, where the houses look like they have literally come out of a painting.

Second on the list is the most “photographed” street in the world, Acorn Street in Boston, USA.

There are 4 other enchanting roads in South Africa, Morocco, Portugal and Italy and in 7th place there is a narrow road from Anafiotika to Plaka.

“In complete contrast to the more neoclassical houses of the Greek capital, the tiny area of ​​Anafiotiki looks like it came straight off an island,” comments the author of the article.
