Diaphragmatic breaths:

Breathing through the diaphragm not only achieves direct movement of the abdominal organs, but also the stimulation of the largest nerve in our body: the pneumogastric nerve. By stimulating it, the parasympathetic nervous system is activated, the part of the nervous system that is responsible for relaxation, rehabilitation, as well as for the proper functioning of the digestive system.

1. Exercise for Diaphragm and Transverse

  • Inhalation: you fill the perimeter of the trunk with air, the abdomen swells.
  • Exhale: pull the navel towards the spine.

2. Chest turns

  • You hold the pelvis steady, you inhale.
  • You twist the trunk while exhaling. You repeat from the other side.

3. Knees side to side

  • You lie down, arms open to the side and legs bent in the air, you inhale.
  • You let the knees tilt to the side allowing the pelvis to follow with exhalation.
  • You keep the upper part of the trunk stable.
