The rich and multidimensional program 2023 of the successful institution of the Ministry of Culture “All Greece is one culture” concludes with six separate events in unique archaeological sites, monuments and museums from the Ottoman Baths in the Castle of Chios to the Castle of Agios Georgios in Argostoli, Kefalonia.

The ninth and final week of this year’s program with the central theme of climate change brings new theater productions, performances and activities for children and teenagers and dance in Chania, Samos, Kefalonia, Rhodes, Arta and Chios from the 28 to 31 August 2023. Events are offered free from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

– The first stop of the last week of the program’s events is the Ancient Theater of Apteras in Chania, where the show for children and teenagers will be presented “Green doesn’t stay here anymore“, written and directed by Nikos Dafnis, on August 28 and 29.

– Next stop the Ancient Theater of Pythagoras of Samos (Wooden) for the first presentation of the theatrical performance “The song of the whale“, based on the book “No More Harveys” by Sandal Bilondo, directed by Maria Xanthopoulidou, on August 29 and 30.

– Four final destinations follow, on August 30 and 31: the Castle of Agios Georgios in Argostoli, Kefalonia, where the show will premiere “Sewage or How we will be remembered” (center photo), directed by Georgia Kanellopoulou, the Bastion of Agios Georgios in the Medieval City of Rhodes, where the theater-art installation “The Whale” will be presented, directed by Ariadnis Kavalierou and Yiannis Bisbikopoulos, the Archaeological Museum of Arta, where it will be presented the original performance for the whole family “Persephone’s nightmare #Chernobyl» from the Onirodrama team. Finally, the Ottoman Baths in the Castle of Chios for the first presentation of the dance performance “The tear» by the modern dance group Stereo Nero.
