Changes in the all-day primary school, a decision by the Deputy Minister of Education, Domnas Michailidou, establishes a new departure time for children.
Expansion of the early departure of students in the country’s All-Day Primary Schools is foreseen by a relevant decision signed by the Deputy Minister of Education, Religion and Sports, Domna Michailidou.

In particular, according to the decision, for the school year 2023-2024, the students of the All-Day Primary Schools where the upgraded program is applied, will have the possibility to leave not only at 3.50pm or 5.30pm, but also at 2.55pm, for convenience of parents and guardians.

It is clarified that the new schedule concerns all of All-day Primary Schools across the country.

Domna Michailidou stated that: “Our goal is the continuous quality upgrade of the All-Day Primary Schools as well as the facilitation and flexibility of the students’ parents and guardians. That’s why, and for the new school year that starts in a few days, we are proceeding to expand the possibility of early departure of students in All-Day Primary Schools from 14.55′. We are strengthening confidence in the full-day school in every way, supporting working parents and their families.”
