The story of the film begins when Kayla decides to drop out of school as she no longer has the money for her tuition. Then an incredible opportunity appears in front of her. He decides to take part in a strange and special computer game of the 80’s, which promises the prize of 125 thousand dollars. Even more strange is that since the start of the game no one has yet managed to win this particular prize.
Of course, things are not as they seem. The game is not at all innocent or at least what Kayla expected. On the contrary, it forces her to accept dangerous challenges, which endanger her physical and mental integrity. After the initial trials, Kayla realizes that she is no longer playing to win the prize, but her own life. However, getting out of the game is no longer possible. He has no choice but to leave. All that remains for her is the following dilemma: play or death.
The cast of the film steals the show
In the leading role of Kayla we will see Iola Evans, whom we met better through the Carnival Row series. At Evans’ side will be the beloved Asa Butterfield from Sex Education as well as the legendary director-actress Robert Englund. However, there is still no information on the role of these in the plot of the case. In any case, they will surely put their hand in this game which is ultimately a matter of life or death.
