With the movie “Poor Things” by the Greek creator Giorgos Lanthimos the curtain of the 31st EnergaCamerimage Film Festival will openwhich will take place in Torun, Poland from 11 to 18 November.
It is noted that the film starring Emma Stone won the Golden Lion at this year’s Venice Film Festival. Award-winning cinematographer Robbie Ryan, who has worked on the famous creator’s latest productions, will present ‘Poor Things’ to the public.
The film is based on the novel by the Scotsman Alistair Gray, which was released in 1992 in an adaptation by playwright Tony McNamara.
The star cast is completed by Willem Dafoe and Mark Ruffalo along with Ramy Youssef, Jerrod Carmichael and Christopher Abbott.
According to Variety, the film by Giorgos Lanthimos, due in US theaters on December 8.
