The rapid impact on the music and audio-visual industry from the introduction of new technology and in particular artificial intelligence and the protective measures that the international community must take to ensure the protection of creators were discussed at a meeting held by the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis with their musician Abba (Mamma Mia) Bjorn Ulvaeus.

At the meeting which took place in a very friendly atmosphere they discussed the collective management of rights of composers, lyricists and authors as Bjorn is the President of CISAC, the world confederation of collective management of authors and composers’ rights.
Bjorn, in consultation with the Prime Minister, will also meet the Archimedes scientific team at the Athena Research Center that specializes in artificial intelligence issues. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Culture Christos Dimas, the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister Thanasis Kontogeorgis, the Director General of CISAC Gadi Oron, the composer Foivos Tasopoulos and the professor of intellectual property Irini Stamatoudi.
