BBB 22: Participants receive negative results for the presence of Covid

Globo announced on Thursday night (3) that all BBB 22 participants received a negative diagnosis after undergoing tests to detect Covid in the afternoon. The broadcaster had been under pressure on social networks to make this happen because of the persistent cough of some of the confined, especially Vinicius.

However, Globo stated that the procedure was not new and says that it occurs “whenever necessary”. “As we did in last year’s edition, as a precaution, BBB participants were tested and presented negative results for the presence of Covid-19”, reads a statement.

The broadcaster also says it continues to follow our security protocols. “All the measures and care were adopted with the same responsibility that allowed the last two editions of the program to be completed safely and successfully”, the text continues. “Everyone’s health is always a priority.”

“It is also important to remember that all BBB 22 participants took the respective doses of the vaccine, a mandatory item for participating in the reality show”, recalls the channel. “And that during the pre-confinement they did successive tests and only entered the house after the negative result for the presence of the coronavirus.”

It is also highlighted in the note that the participants are constantly monitored by the program’s medical team. The company’s protocol establishes that all team professionals with access to the program’s home and workplaces are constantly tested and always use safety equipment.

“Rigorous” cleaning is also carried out on all products that enter the house. This includes food, personal items and materials used at parties and tastings. The broadcaster also says that an extra asepsis is performed at the end of each montage.

“Since the beginning of the season we have acted with transparency, reporting every issue related to the Coronavirus and we will continue to do so,” the statement concludes.
