Following an investigation by the Public Security Team of the Preveza Security Department, the details of two young people involved in an incident of fan motives against a 30-year-old man that took place on Monday afternoon in Preveza were identified.
A case was filed against them for violation of sports laws, bodily harm, threat and illegal violence.
In particular, according to the police investigation, the defendants, together with another person, wearing T-shirts with sports team insignia, approached and punched the 30-year-old, who was wearing a jacket with insignia of another team, while they asked for him and handed him the jacket and keychain. with his team insignia.
The case file will be submitted to the Preveza Public Prosecutor, while the investigation of the case continues.
On Wednesday afternoon, searches were carried out at the premises of sports clubs by the competent police services in Epirus, in the context of which 2 arrests were made.
In particular, a search was carried out in a branch of a club of friends of a sports club, where a person was arrested, in whose possession were found and confiscated an iron fist and a knife.
Also, the person in charge of the operation of the sports club fans’ gathering area was arrested without the required permission from the competent authority.
