The £360 ‘magic tickets’ for the world-renowned music festival, which will take place at Worthy Farm in Somerset, went on sale at 9am on Sunday (19.11) and sold out in less than an hour.
“Tickets for Glastonbury 2024 are now sold out. Thanks to everyone who bought one and sorry to those of you who missed out on the morning where demand far outstripped supply,” organizers wrote at 9:57am on Sunday morning in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
“In the spring of 2024 there will be a resale of all canceled or refunded tickets,” they added.
Earlier this month, Glastonbury co-host Emily Eavis rubbished rumors about the 2024 headliners and the possibility of Madonna joining Dua Lipa and Coldplay.
It is noted that the 2023 event was headlined by Elton John (Elton John) in the last performance of his career for the United Kingdom and Arctic Monkeys and Guns N’ Roses.
According to the British newspaper Guardian, the historic festival will take place from June 26 to 30, 2024.
