The Latina star, who was one of the honorees of the glamorous night, spoke to ET about her new personal album and the documentary that will accompany it.
“This project was something I hadn’t exactly planned,” Lopez explained, adding that it came out of the romantic life journey she shares with her husband.
“When the music ended, I thought, There’s more than just a story to be told here. It was a bigger journey than just a love story.’ And so it became a more complete project, with a great messagesaid Lopez, who made a stunning appearance on the red carpet in a Grace Ling dress with a futuristic metallic bodice and a high-waisted black pencil skirt.
This Is Me… Now: The Film is a film she made with her husband Ben Affleck and follows the true story of Lopez’s search for love and happiness. Regarding their collaboration, the star emphasized that “we work very well together”.
“No one knows my story better than him. So we were able to delve into her in a way that I don’t think any other screenwriter could with me.“, he added.
The new album This Is Me…Now and the documentary which will premiere on Amazon Prime will be released on February 16, 2024.
