Debra Messing receives criticism on social media over trip to Israel

She and other celebrities such as author Douglas Murray and actor Lee Kern show support for Israeli soldiers and Internet users are already calling the journey “photo opportunism”. Since the start of the Israel-Hamas war, Debra has effectively positioned herself in favor of the Israelis.

The actress participated in the “March for Israel”, which was organized by the Jewish Federations of North America, in Washington, United States. The protest took place on November 14th and brought together 300,000 protesters, according to official government data, to demand the release of hostages kidnapped by Hamas during the Islamic terrorist organization’s surprise attack on Israel on October 7th.

In one of the photos, Grace’s interpreter in the series wears a military vest with the words “Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel”. Lee Kern also published a photo of the two actors on the front lines of the conflict area.
