Britney Spears appeared to apologize to him Justin Timberlake about things she wrote about him in her autobiography.

The 42-year-old singer shared an Instagram post saying she was sorry if she “offended any of the people I really care about” along with a quote from Justin Timberlake’s song on Saturday Night Live.

Spears revealed in her book, The Woman In Me, in October that she had an abortion while dating the former NSYNC star.

In her post, Spears wrote: “I want to apologize for some things I wrote in my book. If I hurt any of the people I really care about, I’m deeply sorry…”

Sharing a video of Timberlake singing with US host Jimmy Fallon, he added: “I also wanted to say that I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish.’ It’s so good and how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together I laugh so much?”

Spears was 17 when she started dating Timberlake in 1999 after they met at the Mickey Mouse Club, which has been a springboard for many celebrities including Christina Aguilera and Ryan Gosling. The couple were together until 2002. In her memoir, Spears described the unplanned pregnancy as a “surprise.”

He wrote: “For me it was not a tragedy. However, Justin was definitely not happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were too young.”. She also described the abortion as one of the most painful things she had ever experienced in her life.
