Baby’s daughter from Brazil criticizes Ivete and says the singer ‘doesn’t know anything about the Bible’

Pastor Sara Sheeva decided to defend her mother, the singer Baby do Brasil, from the criticism surrounding her speeches about the apocalypse at Salvador’s Carnival. At the time, Baby said that the apocalypse was coming and was cut off by Ivete Sangalo.

“Poor Ivete when she sent this. She had no idea what she was talking about. I’m sure that by now, someone must have explained it, Ivete already found out about it and regretted it. She said something stupid”, he added.

Sara didn’t like hearing Ivete link the name of her song, “Macetando”, to a religious fact. “When she used the name of her song, I don’t even have the courage to say that name, which has sexual connotations. Good people. There, she put her life at risk. Because the spiritual world doesn’t forgive jokes with the name of God,” he said.

Before the testimony, Baby herself had already spoken about the controversy. “As Mahatma Gandhi said: ‘difference of opinion is not a reason for quarrels’,” she said in a post.

This is not the first time that pastor Sara Sheeva has criticized someone famous. In 2020, he didn’t like Anitta’s stance regarding the way she danced and sensualized in the clips. The nun had already made a video about this in 2017, at the time with the explosion of the video for “Vai, Malandra”.

In an interview with Luciana Gimenez, she gave her point of view and sent a message to the artist, whose real name is Larissa. “Larissa, I want to send you my kiss. I always pray for your life and I hope you return to Jesus soon,” she said.

The pastor also stated that “it is not possible to serve God by shaking your ass.”
