“Obviously, it’s about absolutely angry statements” Peskov pointed out.
“We consider such statements absolutely unacceptable, they are unacceptable,” the Russian official added.
“There is no information yet from doctors, medical examiners, there is no final information from the Federal Correctional Service,” he noted.
“The president (Putin) has been informed, the FSIN (Federal Penitentiary Service) is doing what needs to be done,” he said.
The representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova said earlier that what he called Western accusations of the death of jailed opposition leader Alexei Navalny, are “revealing to the West itself”.
In her statement, which she made public through the platform Telegram, Zakharova says forensic results on Navalny’s death not yet availablebut the West has already reached its own conclusions.
Zakharova did not specify which charges she is referring to.
