Singer Machine Gun Kelly, Megan Fox’s boyfriend, surprised fans by appearing with his upper body almost completely tattooed in black.
On his Instagram profile, the rapper stated that he made the change only for “spiritual purposes”. The new work covered several of the artist’s old tattoos, leaving only a cross on his chest and lines on his arms showing.
In the stories, he showed the machine used to make the tattoo, which according to him has 44 needles. The tattoo artist, who specializes in work with black fills, wrote “I’ve never seen more ‘angry'” about the rapper. “Thank you for the joy and the pain,” Machine replied.
Some of the musician’s fans were saddened by his previous tattoos. “I had an emotional attachment to those tattoos,” lamented one fan. “Wow. All that previous work going down the drain,” commented another.
Another fan even theorized that the rapper wanted to leave behind the memories of when he was addicted to drugs, and that’s why he covered up his tattoos, most of which were done at that time.
Machine Gun Kelly, 33, has been dating actress Megan Fox, 37, since 2020. In November last year, the couple was in Brazil for Machine’s performance at the GPWeek festival, in São Paulo.
