A small taste of the video clip of the song “Liar” and Celia Kapsiswhich will represent Cyprus in the 68th Eurovision music contest, announced the RIK.

Flanked by two dancers and dressed in gold by a Greek designer, 17-year-old Celia sings “Liar” composed by Dimitris Kontopoulos in a very impressive Limassol hotel lobby.

The official release of the song is expected next Thursday, February 29, 2024.

RIK was at the filming of the video clip and spoke with Celia, who expressed her great joy at representing Cyprus, where she comes from.

“I hope to make you all proud” he said to the RIK camera, according to a video posted on the Cyprus broadcaster’s website.

Cilia Kapsi was born in Australia and her parents are from Cyprus and Greece. She has been participating in shows since the age of four, is systematically involved in singing and dancing and has danced with world-renowned choreographers. She wrote her first song at the age of 12.

The Eurovision Song Contest is set to take place in Malmö on May 11, as Swedish contestant Loreen won last year’s contest in the UK with her song ‘Tattoo’.
