The famous American actor and singer of Thirty Seconds to Mars, will star as Ares, the main character of the film, who is a product of AI, a computer program sent from the digital world to the real world.
Ares is sent on a mission to introduce Artificial Intelligence to humans, a plot that seems almost too real for our time.
The film is a sequel to 1982’s ‘Tron’ as well as its 2010 sequel, ‘Tron: Legacy’. The original film followed a video game designer, played by Jeff Bridges, who went into his own creation while the 2010 sequel followed his son, played by Garrett Hedlund.
“Ares” is directed by Joachim Renning and stars Leto alongside big names such as Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro.
