Celso Portiolli makes videos at the hospital undergoing treatment for bladder cancer

Presenter Celso Portiolli, 54, shared videos on his Instagram at the hospital, during treatment for bladder cancer. The records were published in his Stories this Friday morning (18).

“I am here for my treatment. I want to thank everyone who is saying prayers, thank you very much. I am very strong, with my direct connection with God, always thanking Him for everything, for health, for the treatment”, the artist began.

“Thank you for the prayers of so many people, so much affection, to thank Doctor Fernando Maluf, great doctor, great friend, to this wonderful team”, he continued. The presenter said that he is fine and that next Monday (21) he should be back at work.

“On Monday we start recording the new season of Compra é bom, Levar é bom. And on March 6 we are back with our Domingo Legal live”, explained the presenter of Domingo Legal (SBT). The artist revealed the illness to his followers last year on December 28.

“I’m here to talk seriously with you, it’s important news about my life, I think the most important news I’m going to share with you,” he began at the time. He also pointed out that some of his friends and relatives also did not know about the disease until the publication on Instagram.

“I had bladder cancer found at the earliest possible stage, which is good news,” he said. “I had an endoscopic treatment to remove this polyp [crescimento anormal de células]and now I’m going to have to do a treatment inside the bladder, an immunotherapy called BCG.”

Before telling about the cancer, the presenter tried to reassure netizens and said smiling: “Don’t worry, there’s good news, I’m very optimistic and with a lot of faith”.

“Because the chance of cure is close to 100%, check it out. This made me very relieved. And during the treatment I’ll have an absolutely normal life, I’ll continue to go to the gym, my television shows”, he said.
