Travis Kelsey joined the cinematic universe of Ryan Murphy. The Kansas City Chiefs star is starring in the “American Horror Story” creator’s latest production, “Grotesquerie,” and has already spent his first day on set with his co-star Niecy Nash-Betts.

There is currently no word on the new FX horror series which will premiere this fall. Emmy winner Courtney Vance and Oscar nominee Leslie Manville also star.

In her post on Instagram, Niecy Nash gave a first look from the filming and shared several videos with moments from the set with the top athlete.

“Guys, guess who I’m working with on ‘Grotesquerie,'” he captioned one of them, with the NFL star replying, “I’m breaking new ground with Nissi.”

Another shows Murphy hugging Kelsey and telling him: “You were great.” When the actress asks him how he feels, Kelsey replies, “I’m glad I didn’t hurt anyone.”

According to People, it is not the first time that the athlete is involved in the entertainment industry. He recently produced My Dead Friend Zoe, starring Soneka Martin-Green, Ed Harris and Morgan Freeman, and will host Are You Smarter than a Celebrity? for Prime Video. Last year he had undertaken the presentation of one of his episodes “Saturday Night Live.”
