THE Hugh Jackman and the Emmy Award winner Jodie Comer will join forces in the new film ‘The Death Of Robin Hood’ for a darker retelling of the classic Robin Hood story.

Written and directed by him Michael Sarnoski the new production will follow the protagonist “struggling with his criminal past. A lonely, hurt and badly injured Robin Hood who struggles with the consequences of his actions and meets a mysterious woman who offers him a second chance.” “It was an incredible opportunity to reinvent and refresh in a fresh way the story we all know about Robin Hood,” Michael Sarnoski said in a statement. “Securing the perfect cast to turn the script into a big screen story was essential. I couldn’t be more excited and trust Hugh and Jodi to bring this story to life in a powerful and meaningful way,” he added.

THE Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett will be among the producers through the Ryder Picture Company along with Lyrical Media.

According to Deadline, production on “The Death of Robin Hood” is expected to begin in February 2025.
