Lidiane Barbosa, wife of actor Tony Ramos since 1969, updated the health status of the performer, who underwent surgery last Thursday (16) after feeling ill while working.
In an interview with SBT, Lidiane stated that Tony had a scare and that he must leave the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) this weekend.
“It was a big scare, but he’s doing great, okay? He’s already talking. Tomorrow he’s in the ICU and, God willing, he’ll go to the semi-ICU. Everything’s fine,” said Lidiane.
“The surgery was considered a success, thank God. God knows what he is doing and everything happened at the right time. There is no forecast for discharge because it has just happened”, said the businesswoman.
Lidiane Barbosa concluded by saying that she would not speak publicly about Tony Ramos’ health if he was not really well. “He’s really fine. If he wasn’t, he wouldn’t be talking, but he’s fine. The surgery was wonderful, all the doctors said. It was a success,” she said.
Tony Ramos is stable after undergoing head surgery to drain an intracranial bleed.
“The patient underwent a new cranial tomography this morning (17), which showed significant improvement. Tony Ramos breathes without the aid of equipment, is lucid and his health status is stable”, informs the medical bulletin sent by Samaritano hospital, in Rio de Janeiro, about the Globo actor.
