The “Polin” couple is in Rio de Janeiro! Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton, the protagonists of the new season of “Bridgerton” (Netflix), Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, arrived at the Theatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro to participate in a publicity event for the series.
The protagonist duo arrived in Brazil last Sunday (19) and have already been photographed enjoying the tourist attractions of the wonderful city and tasting caipirinhas. This Monday (20), they will be present at a “Bridgerton funk dance”, promoted by Netflix.
Famous Brazilians also arrived at the Theater to attend the event. Camila Queirós, Kleber Toledo, Carla Diaz, Camila Pudim, Jeniffer Nascimento, Bruna Vieira and Blogueirinha were some of the guests.
The first part of the third season of the series was released last Thursday (16) on the platform. The plot is based on “The Secrets of Colin Bridgerton”, the fourth book in the series by Julia Quinn, and shows Penelope determined to overcome her passion for Colin and find a husband who will allow her to continue writing as Lady Whistledown.
While the first season followed the romance of Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon (Regé-Jean Page) and the second followed in the footsteps of Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate (Simone Ashley), Colin and Penelope saw the main couple of the season. The second part, with the rest of the episodes, arrives on Netflix on June 13th.
