‘Kate Middleton is very ill and the treatment is exhausting’, says Lady Di’s biographer

Since Kate Middleton announced that she has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy, her health has been discussed a lot. Members of the royal family are frequently asked about the Princess of Wales’ health status, but they do not reveal many details. Lady Colin Campbell, Lady Di’s first biographer, shared information about Prince William’s wife.

“Katherine is very ill. The treatment is exhausting. She needs to reserve herself to recover and take care of her three children, who are very young,” said the biographer, who is the author of seven books about the British royal family, to the Spanish magazine Mujer Hoy.

Lady Collin was asked about Kate’s return to public appearances, in her commitments as a member of the royal family: “Simple as that, she is too ill to be active.” The Princess of Wales has been away since January, when she had abdominal surgery, during which she discovered cancer.

The author also praised Prince William’s behavior in the face of the family situation: “The British are very aware of the extremely adverse circumstances that Prince William is dealing with. He is doing what anyone could do in his place.” The heir to the throne of the United Kingdom continues his work schedule.
