Haim Perry, 79, Amiram Cooper, 84, Yoram Metzger, 80, and Nadav Popplewell, 51, believed to be Hamas hostages, were held in the Khan Yunis area and died several months ago
The Israeli military on Monday officially announced the death yet four more Israeli hostages of Hamas.
Haim Perry, 79, Amiram Cooper, 84, Yoram Metzger, 80, and Nadav Popplewell, 51, believed to be Hamas hostages, were being held in the Khan Yunis area and they died several months ago.
The military did not provide details on the circumstances of their deaths, citing an ongoing investigation.
Perry, Cooper and Metzger were kidnapped by Hamas from the Nir Oz kibbutz on October 7, while Popplewell was kidnapped by Nirim.
In December, Hamas released a propaganda video of Perry, Cooper and Metzger, and in March claimed that the three were killed by Israeli fire.
Popplewell appeared in a separate promotional video in May, presumably weeks after his murder.
The IDF has confirmed the death 41 of the 120 total hostages still held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip. The terrorist group had kidnapped 251 people on October 7.
Hamas has also been holding the bodies of fallen IDF soldiers since 2014.
