The “black gazelle” of the catwalk welcomed her two children via surrogate in 2021 and 2023
Naomi Campbell expressed her concern that young women are abandoning the idea of becoming mothers due to economic factors. The 54-year-old “black gazelle” of the catwalk, who welcomed two children via surrogate in 2021 and 2023, told young women that the financial commitment of parenthood is “worth it”.
In an interview with “The Times”Campbell shared her concerns that Generation Z seems to have given up on the idea of having children. “I’ve heard a lot of young girls say it’s too expensive to have children and they might not want them, and I said, ‘You’re going to change your mind. You will want to be mothers”the model said.

“I understand that from a financial point of view it is difficult. But my mother had nothing and managed. Worth it. It’s so amazing”added Naomi Campbell.
Campbell has a three-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son, whom she is currently raising alone. “My babies are everything to me,” he said emphatically.

While she did not outline her concerns for the future, she said she is glad that young people today are more literate and “open-minded” about mental health compared to previous generations.
“Young people feel comfortable coming out and sharing that they have a problem. It used to be that you were considered crazy or selfish if you said, “I’m going to see a psychologist or a psychiatrist or a psychiatrist.” That’s ignorance – there’s nothing wrong with that, improving the quality of your life. It’s not bad to go to a rehab center to recover”concluded.
