The princess Rajwa of Jordanwife of Crown Prince Hussein, attended King Abdullah’s Silver Jubilee celebrations marking 25 years of his reign.
At the grand military parade attended by more than 8,000 people, the heavily pregnant princess chose to wear a red maxi creation by her favorite designer Honayda Serafi which was created especially for the occasion.

In an interview with Arab NewsSerafi spoke about the symbolism behind this elaborate garment that took over 950 hours to complete, using traditional techniques by Jordanian artisans.
“The colors used reflect the four colors of the Jordanian flag: red, green, black and white, paying homage to rich Jordanian traditions (and) celebrating the country’s vibrant culture,” said the designer.
“A deep, intense red color was chosen for the look which represents the Hashemite dynasty, which is associated with power and passion, embodies royal authority and conveys love for the land.
As reported by Vogue Arabia, it is the first official public appearance of the crown prince and Princess Rajwa since the palace announced that they will welcome their first child in the summer.
