Billie Eilish revealed that he fell victim to it “ghosting” from an old friend and spoke about the loneliness of fame. Ghosting is a phenomenon of our time, as are other abusive behaviors. It is observed when someone abruptly stops any form of communication in a relationship, usually friendly or romantic.

Speaking on the BBC’s ‘Miss Me?’ podcast, the famous artist said she experienced a ‘crazy ghosting’ last year. “I was like, are you dead? Did you literally die?’she said.

Eilish also spoke about how she lost her friends when she became famous. “Suddenly I was famous and I couldn’t talk to anyone. It was hard, really hard.”he said.

While her best friend Zoe was still around, Eilish said her friends were people who were part of her team. “It was my 20th birthday and I remember looking around the room and there were only people I employed. And all of them older than me, they might have been 15 years older than me.”

When one of those employees suddenly quit, Eilish realized it wasn’t a real friendship. “And it was the worst thing that ever happened to me. This made me realize that the work part is one thing and the friendship part is another.”

However, things have changed for her in the last year, she said, as she has become more distant from the people she works with, while also seeing some of her old friends.

“Just a year ago, I reconnected with a bunch of old friends and now I have so many… I could literally cry about it. It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”, he added. Eilish released her third studio album, “Hit Me Hard and Soft”on May 17.
