by

Actress Hayden Panettiere, 32, known for the series “Heroes” (2006-2010) and “Nashville” (2012-2018), said that her daughter, Kaya, is fine and is not in Ukraine. The seven-year-old is the fruit of her relationship with Ukrainian fighter Wladimir Klitschko, 45, and regularly lives with his family.

Panettiere made the statement on his social media, this Friday (25), after questioning a fan. In the same publication, the actress called the Russian attack on Ukraine an “absolute shame” and stated that she is praying for her family and friends in the European country, and that she would like to be there to fight with them.

“This horrific moment in history sends a terrifying message, the message that today, in the year 2022, it’s okay to violate the rights of free people and allow autocrats like Putin to take what they want,” she wrote. “I’m praying for my family and friends there and for everyone who is struggling. I wish you had more support and I wish I was there to fight with you.”

Panettiere and Hall of Fame boxer Wladimir Klitschko got engaged in 2013 and welcomed Kaya in 2014, separating in August 2018. After the split, the couple’s daughter moved in with her paternal family in Ukraine, and he spends time with his mother in the United States on a regular basis.

Wladimir Klitschko, who is the brother of Vitali Klitschko, mayor of Kiev, the Ukrainian capital, has been harshly critical of Russian attacks on his social media. The brothers have already declared that they will take up arms to defend the country. This Saturday (26), he called on the whole world to act to stop this attack. “We need to act now,” he said.
