Digital influencer, plus size model and body activist Letticia Munniz, 32, says that at Carnival people allow themselves more freedom to have fun and this is reflected in the way they dress and look at their bodies. Letticia was this Sunday (27th) on the second day of shows of Carnival in the City, at the Jockey Clube de São Paulo.
According to Letticia, people should allow themselves more throughout the year. “People should feel free to wear any piece they like, that they want, and not follow such standards”, says the model, with a makeup with several crystals placed around her eyes. “I have several accessories like this at home. In the holiday season, creativity runs high and we create several looks.”
To enjoy the Carnival shows in the City, Letticia chose a look with comfort in mind. She wore a cropped dress and plush shoes. “I breathe fashion, but at Carnival, I go the extra mile to look pretty. However, comfort is very important to me, I like to jump, dance and feel free,” she said.
The model also made a point of asking people to be less judgmental of other people’s bodies, especially on social media. “Whoever wants to be happy, be happy. Don’t wait for anyone’s opinion, only yours that matters. And whoever frees himself at Carnival, in my view, should free himself forever,” she said.
