Sophie Charlotte and Xamã make their first public appearance together

Elected best actress by the São Paulo Association of Art Critics (APCA), Sophie Charlotte appeared at the awards gala night accompanied by Xamã this Tuesday (2).

The new couple, who had not yet publicly confirmed their relationship, were seen in an intimate and affectionate atmosphere at the event, at the Sérgio Cardoso Theater, in São Paulo.

Sophie went up on stage excited to receive the trophy and was applauded closely by the rapper. She was awarded for her work in “Todas as Flores”. “I want to thank Globo and Globoplay, because since I was 17 years old I have been receiving great opportunities. I have grabbed each one with a lot of love and a lot of responsibility”, she said.

“I want to share this award with João Emanuel [Carneiro]with Carlos Araújo, with our producers, the entire technical team. And also a big thank you to my scene partners: Regina Casé, Letícia Colin, Humberto Carrão, Mariana Nunes, the people who helped me build this Maíra on a daily basis”, continued Sophie.

“But I’m here today because of Natália Santos, Camila Alves and Moira Braga. Three women who guided me with vibrancy, joy and enthusiasm and showed me the relevance of the responsibility of this work like Maíra in building an understanding of the difficulties and the path we need as a society in the fight against ableism in Brazil. This award is for you,” added the actress.

Rumors of an affair between the actors, who starred in hot scenes in “Renascer”, began about a month ago.

Until three months ago, the actress was married to Daniel de Oliveira, with whom she has an 8-year-old son. They announced their separation at the end of April.
