A miniseries inspired by the life of the legendary boxer Mohammed Ali titled the nickname “The Greatest” acquired in his life will be shown by Prime Video.

It is considered the first official series about the life of the famous athlete who will be embodied by Jaalen Bestwith executive producers, the Michael B. Jordan, Ben Watkins and Josh Wakelywho secured the rights to Ali’s story and brought the project to Amazon.

“I’m thrilled to be producing ‘The Greatest’ alongside Ben Watkins, who captured the essence of Muhammad,” said Lonnie Ali (Lonnie Ali), wife of the boxing legend and executive producer. “Regarding Jaalen Best, we discovered a gem. He is such a talented young man who not only embodies Mohammed, but exudes his resilience, courage, charisma and confidence,” he added.

The series will showcase the most important moments in Ali’s life and career – both in and out of the ring, as well as situations that took place out of the spotlight. “People remember an idol, but ‘The Greatest’ is about a man, a husband, a father, a brother and a son.”
