The number of arrests reached 74, of which 5 are minors, for the wild fight between individuals, which took place yesterday outside the Panathinaikos stadium and in particular on Tsoha Street.

In particular, according to ELAS, the arrests of 72 people were turned into arrests, while the others arrested are two of the three injured.

It is recalled that one of the three people was injured by a shot in the leg.

From the Sub-Directorate for Combating Violence in Sports Venues, a fan incident that took place yesterday afternoon, Saturday July 13, 2024, outside a football field in an area of ​​Athens, was investigated.

A total of -74- people were arrested for the case, against whom a case file was filed -as the case may be- for criminal organization, disturbance of domestic peace, attempted murder, dangerous bodily harm, damage to foreign property, weapons, flares, drugs for violation of the Sports Law .

With the assistance of squads of the Directorate of Police Operations of Attica, as well as police officers of the OPKE. and the DRASI Group, all of the above were brought from the scene, while, as it emerged from the investigation, the participants in the episode happen to be fans of the same team.

In addition, during the incident, four arrestees were injured, two of whom were transported and are being treated in an Athens hospital.

In searches carried out in the area, 18 motorcycles, helmets, gloves, knives, bullets, cartridges, gloves, collars and mobiles were found and confiscated.

Those arrested will be taken to the competent prosecuting authority”.
