Comedian and influencer Dilson Alves da Silva Neto, known as Nego Di, who participated in BBB 21, was arrested this Sunday (14) accused of fraud and of having harmed at least 370 people in scams.
According to the Civil Police of Rio Grande do Sul, his online store stopped delivering products that were purchased by followers, resulting in a total loss for customers that could reach R$5 million.
Last Friday (12), he and his wife had already been the targets of an operation by the Public Ministry under the accusation of money laundering with illegal raffles, but his arrest was for another reason.
Di was arrested in Florianópolis (SC), but is expected to be transferred to Porto Alegre (RS) this Sunday. The comedian’s defense had not commented until the publication of this text.
The investigation into alleged fraud has been ongoing since 2022. Nego Di is the owner of the Tadizuera store, which operated between March and July of that year, when the court ordered it to close.
Among the products sold were televisions and air conditioning units, at prices below those practiced in the general market.
The products were not delivered to the buyers. According to the police authorities, the loss could be even greater, since, due to the million-dollar bank transactions, it is possible that more people were harmed but did not file a complaint.
