Ana Hickmann, 43, had a million-dollar debt suspended by the São Paulo Court. Target of an action to enforce a debt in the amount of R$1,761,709.03 from Valecred, a financial institution that operates in the Tatuí region, the presenter will await the result of new investigations into the case.
The press office of the Record employee states that the sentence is the result of a recent police investigation by the Criminalistics Institute (IC) into alleged signatures on contracts. According to a complementary documentoscopic report that determined “the authenticity of 48 loan authorizations did not come from the handwriting of Ana Lúcia Hickmann Correa”. F5 had access to the report.
The judge decided to suspend the collection of Valecred due to considering “a serious risk in the continuity of the execution” and also requested new investigations before giving a verdict “at the end of the investigation of the entire process”, informed, in a note, Hickmann’s advisory.
Valecred claims to have lent R$1.5 million in September 2022 and requested an arrest (judicial measure to seize assets and values) of the presenter’s assets, but the request was denied by the court.
At the end of 2023, the presenter made a survey of the debts accumulated by the companies she had in partnership with her ex-husband, Alexandre Correa. In the document sent to the court, six of Hickmann’s companies owed R$26 million at that time.
