“It’s an honor to perform tonight at the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony, and I’m so happy to be back in one of my very favorite cities!” Celine Dion said shortly after her impressive and moving appearance at the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games, last night, in Paris.

At the foot of the Eiffel Tower, dressed in white, the Canadian star performed Edith Piaf’s “Ode to Love”, moving the world.

“Most of all, I am so happy to honor these amazing athletes, with all their stories of sacrifice and determination, pain and perseverance. All of you have been so focused on your dream, and whether or not you win a medal, I hope that being here means that your dream has come true. You should all be so proud, we know how hard you have worked to be the best of the best. Stay focused, keep going, my heart goes out to you! – Celine hhh…” the Canadian star wrote on social media.

In her second post, Dion wished good luck to all the athletes, while accompanying her post with photos of her iconic appearance on top of the Eiffel Tower.
