Cheese bread and beans with rice. These are the two Brazilian dishes that Mariah Carey will not leave out of her wish list during her short stay in Brazil. The singer, who will arrive in three weeks, said she is excited to see her Brazilian fans again, of course, but that she is also thinking about national delicacies. “I want to eat cheese bread and beans with rice,” she said.

Mariah will perform a solo show at Allianz Parque in São Paulo on September 20, and then perform at Rock in Rio on the 22nd. She even said that she is preparing a special setlist, including songs that are particularly popular among Brazilian fans. The singer announced that she will perform “I Want to Know What Love Is”, a version of the hit by the band Foreigner.

The singer also highlighted in an interview with “Fantástico”, which airs this Sunday (25) on Globo, that she has several Brazilian friends and it is these partners who keep her informed about the country and how much she is admired here.
