An incriminating video based on a wrong conclusion
A person with a social conscience o Marios Athanasiou last night he witnessed an incident that shocked and disturbed him to such an extent that he decided to make a video but drew the wrong conclusion about what he witnessed.
On a main street in the northwestern suburbs, he saw a naked and very agitated girl with people and police around her and concluded that she was a rape victim. Completely shocked – evident in the flow of his speech – he made a video several hours later about how no one bothered to cover her, with cars driving around her and people gawking at the event. Pressing on it, he also talked about the tightening of the legislation on abuse and rape and expressed all his beliefs while still clearly agitated.
After its publication, however, he received multiple messages from residents of the area who informed him that it was not such an incident, and so this morning he downloaded the video in question from his social media, as although the essence of what he said is exactly what he believes, it is not he wanted there to be this inaccuracy that he mentioned at the beginning out of a misunderstanding. And as we have learned he intends to upload a fix on this issue probably within the day.
