Angélica says Luciano Huck does not want to be president of Brazil: ‘I don’t want him to want it either’

Luciano Huck has already made it clear that he wants to run for president of Brazil. But if it depends on the Globo presenter’s wife, this aspiration will not happen. Angélica denied that entering politics is one of her partner’s desires and even called it a “rip-off”. “He doesn’t want to be and I don’t want him to want to.”

Angélica then continued: “I think it’s a rip-off in terms of personal life and for me it’s not something you want. It’s your destiny, it’s a mission and you either have it or you don’t,” she said on the program “Da Frente com Blogueirinha”, on YouTube, this Wednesday (4).

Angélica also said that she is not jealous of Huck’s past and laughed when she was reminded by the blogger that her husband had a long list of ex-girlfriends. “Ivete… Eliana… Who else? I don’t know. I was never jealous of his past because everyone has a past. We dated for four months, I got pregnant and got married. I didn’t have time for anything,” she joked.

She said she is an attentive and concerned mother for her children Joaquim, 19, Benício, 16, and Eva, 11. Angélica also recalled that she only slept when the boys came back from a night out. Today, she can’t take it anymore. “The older ones arrive at 4 am and I only stay awake until 2 am. They come and go to my room. I’m not their friend, but I talk to them. They need to have the security of a father and a mother. I don’t like this ‘having a drink together’ thing,” she said.

The presenter recalled the episode involving Anitta with Joaquim during the recordings of the segment “Angélica: 50 & Tantos”, on Fantástico. The singer praised the guy and many internet users insinuated a flirtation. “I took it as a joke. Anitta is fun, she talks crazy. He was embarrassed, but he took it well”, she explained, later admitting the reason for her concern.

Angélica explained: “I thought about his life, because he has a girlfriend and I love her. This is where I talk about fear. Will his girlfriend know how to deal with it? I asked him to explain to her that it was a joke. I’m a good mother-in-law.”
