The actor Harry Romas he was a guest on the show “Moms” and started talking by referring to the first memories he has from his childhood:

“The first thing that comes to my mind, when I remember my childhood, is my mother chasing me to my father’s house in Piraeus, because I had done something wrong. The biggest mischief I did as a child was that I broke the window in the room with a toy because my father pissed me off,” he said and continued:

“My mother was telling me about the “mischief” I had done with a beggar who was sitting on a street corner with her hand outstretched and begging for alms. This image made a great impression on me. I asked my mother what is this and why is this lady sitting there. She told me that she has no money, she has a big problem to live and that’s why some people give her some money. And they give it to her to eat.

After a day, I disappeared from home, everyone started looking for me. They took to the streets in a panic to look for me and suddenly, they see me on the street corner next to this lady with me holding out my hand. I said, “Mom, I’m helping the lady to eat.”

Undoubtedly, his relationship with his mother was very close and he himself admits it:

“I am my mother’s child, many tell me that I look like her in expressions, in the way I move my hands. But lately, I also remember my dad. I sometimes see him in my sleep, I talk to him and call him “my dad”.
