Bruno Mars —or Bruninho, for Brazilians— is celebrating his 39th birthday in Brazil. And on top of that, he’s single. After revealing the end of his relationship, the singer received his first “happy birthday” in the bar of the hotel where he was staying.
In a video published on social media in the early hours of the morning, the singer appears wearing a Brazilian cap and receiving a cake with lit candles. He should continue with the celebrations on Tuesday night, when he performs at the Morumbis Stadium.
The celebration took place after his show last Monday (7), in which he revealed that he is “single” and “easy”, confirming the end of his relationship with model and actress Jessica Caban. “Where are the single women?” he asked during the show.
Earlier this year, the singer had said, in an interview with Fantástico (Globo), that he would like to celebrate his birthday in Brazil: “The shows in Brazil are always different because the energy of the people is different. The last time was so incredible that Now I want to celebrate my birthday there”, he confessed.
In 2023, Mars made two appearances at The Town Festival. During this time, he performs 14 shows between São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizente, Curitiba and Brasília.
