“I wonder what will happen to all this when I’m done? This is the last period of my life”, says the artist
Sir Elton John has spoken openly about his fears about death, saying he doesn’t know how much time he has left. The 77-year-old singer of “Rocketman” and other unrepeatable hits, Elton John, admitted, among other things, that his children are worried about his age.
The documentary ‘Elton John: Never Too Late’ was shown in a special screening at the Royal Festival Hall as part of the London Film Festival (LFF). The project features never-before-seen footage and conversations with his longtime songwriting partner Bernie Taupin, as well as Dua Lipa and the late John Lennon.

It is known that the famous artist has faced many health problems over the years. He has undergone surgery for prostate cancer and recently revealed that he has limited vision in one eye after a severe infection.
The documentary features footage of him preparing for his final North American concert, at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, where he performed sold-out shows in 1975.
“I wonder what will happen to all this when I’m done? This is the last period of my life. I don’t know how much time I have left. And you think about life and death more intensely when you get to my age. You think, “Well, I just want to be where I want to be right now.” I don’t have to work after this tour. I’ll be working making records and doing radio shows, but the traveling is so exhausting.”he says.
